Collecting personal information

When you visit the Site we collect information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and what is needed to process your purchase. We may collect more if you contact us for support. In this policy, "personal information" means any information about an identifiable individual.

Device information

Why we collect it: to load the Site correctly for you, and to understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.

How it is collected: automatically when you access the Site, using cookies and server logs.

What is collected: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, which pages and products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.

Order information

Why we collect it: to sell you the product — to take payment, arrange shipping, send you confirmations and invoices, contact you about your order, and screen orders for fraud.

How it is collected: from you, when you place an order.

What is collected: name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and the payment details you enter at checkout.

We do not receive or store your full card number. Card details are entered into a payment form served by our payment processor and go directly to them; what reaches us is a reference to the payment, never a number that could be charged again.

Sharing personal information

We share personal information with the service providers we need in order to sell and deliver to you:

• Stripe, our payment processor, to take and refund payments. Their privacy policy is at https://stripe.com/privacy.
• Our shipping carrier, to deliver your order and give you tracking.
• Our hosting and email providers, who process data on our instructions in order to run the Site and contact you.

We may also share personal information to comply with the law, to respond to a subpoena, warrant or other lawful request, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

Using personal information

We use your personal information to provide our services: to offer products for sale, process payments, ship and fulfil your order, provide support, and — where you have asked for it — tell you about new products and offers.

Lawful basis

If you are in the European Economic Area, we process your personal information on the following bases: your consent; performance of the contract between you and the Site; compliance with our legal obligations; protection of your vital interests; and our legitimate interests, where those do not override your rights and freedoms.

Retention

When you place an order we keep your personal information for our records — including as long as tax and accounting law requires us to — unless and until you ask us to erase it. See "Your rights" below.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you by fully automated means that have a legal or similarly significant effect.

Our payment processor applies automated fraud screening to transactions, which may decline a payment. If a payment is declined and you believe it should not have been, contact us and a person will look at it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to erase it, or ask us to send it to another service. To do any of that, contact us using the details below.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and you think we have not handled your information properly, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. You may use an authorised agent to make a request; contact us at the address below.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of information stored on your device when you visit the Site. We use cookies to keep your basket and your session working, and to understand how the Site is used.

• A cart cookie, so the basket you filled is still there on the next page and on your next visit.
• A session cookie, so that if you sign in you stay signed in.
• Analytics cookies, so we can see which pages are used and which are not.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart and sign-in cookies are what make the shop work, so blocking those will stop you from being able to buy.

Do Not Track

We do not change how this Site collects or uses data when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
